Today someone spat in my face and called me a nasty tranny.
The term "tranny" can be incredibly hurtful, especially if you yourself do not understand what it means to be Transgender, Transsexual, or a Transvestite.
All we want to do is live without being noticed for what we are not - live and be able to be the people that so many others get to be just by being born. We are not second-class citizens to be spat on, nor are we "funny" or "disgusting".
If you wouldn't call an African American a "nigger", if you wouldn't call a Latin American a "spic", or a Japanese a "jap" or a Homosexual a "faggot", DON'T call us a "tranny".
